Went down to Luton saturday aftertoon to do the live update of the £1000 no limit main event

102 entrants which eventually finished at 2am monday morning Plans went pearshaped when the lad who usually does updates with me was ill and i had to cover the event myself went well considering the field was slimmed down to 42 remaining after day one

Day two started at 3pm sunday afternoon and it took 5 hours to slim the field down 9 players for the final of which two of my buddies was still in both reasonably chipped up play continued until 2am and then i watched the guys play cash game after two days of doing updates i had no desire to play my mind was on clockwatch laughs train was departing luton at 06.33 parole was coming it was my escape route and some well earned sleep on the journey to sheffield
