Napoleons sheffield 2007 was indeed a strange night

Broke cardinal rule i have and gambled on the house games prior to the £30 rebuy competition when will i learn anyway cut long story short lost £100 playing 3 card poker and blackjack not an huge amount just the fact i lost it to the casino spewwwwwwwww. walked away in disgust, Took myself off to the cardroom exchanged happy new year blah blah blah with numerous players and sat down to read a poker magazine
The comp did not go too well 90 runners managed to have 3 rebuys all within 1st 30 minutes had that its one of those nights feelings lol somehow by luck managed to get going and opted not to top up nothing special transpired however busted out when down to 4 tables .

There was only holdem no limit cash games going at the time which i hate personally so off i trotted down to blackjack again.. lol i never learnt from earlier i guess proceed to blow last £70 had left in pocket so cash machine beckoned.

Thouroughly disgusted with Blackjack i go back into the cardroom and a small £20 dealers choice game had started along with an £100 game, the lineup on the £100 game was chit so sat down on the £20 dealers choice when a seat came free managed to donk off my initial entry within three hands so pulled up another £20. Tide turned and i got involved in a pot on hi-lo flop of A-K-5 all diamonds i was holding 2345K missed the low but the river paired the king i quadrupled up sometime later tripled up to around £200 mark after flopping a full house some unfortunate soul had flopped the trips and proceeded to bet all in before it even got to me happy days. nothing out of the ordinary happened after that, the game started to break couple of players going broke and it was getting tight must admit it would have been easier extracting a limpet off a rock than trying to extract money out of some of the players left so left my 1st foray on cash for 2007 was a profitable one. i left + £150 recouped the 70 lost on blackjack and a couple of buyins yay!!!!

wandered over to the £100 game and the dealer asked me to take over dealing as he had been dealing for 2 hours and wanted a break, i must admit i have to thank him a great way to keep me occupied and away from those pesky casino games , For the final 2 hours dealt the £100 cash game earned £70 in tips the game was only 4 handed to be honest i was happy dealing and any tips was a bonus all in all managed to recover all bar about £60 on the night which was cool considering had put myself into a hole through my own stupidity. After the casino shut i still had another 2 hours to accupy myself until the 1st train home so went to the snooker club and chilled played a couple of frames of snooker a game i must admit to being hopeless at but hey it kept me awake arrived home at 9am and theres goes another night in sheffield time for much needed sleep!!!!!!
